Thank-you Ian, someone else suggested it was but I was just double checking.
Catherine was born in 1832 in ST.Albans, Me.
I'll give you all I have which isn't much and may not apply. I went to school with a fellow named Tibbetts from Carmel, Me. He said to me he thought we were related. At the time my parents said it could be possible. But I never talked with him again about it because he died in an accident. All I know about his family is, he had at least one sister.
There was a family of Tibbetts/Tebbetts that lived in Glenburn, Me. Not to far from the Levant townline. No one can think of the mans first name and everyone only remembers him as Old Man Tibbetts. Seems like he died in 1960-69.
This is a thought only, the McAveys lived in St. Albans, Me. starting about 1828 or before, until about 1867. Maybe Samuel Tibbetts lived in that area at one time? If I find anything I will get in touch, Lori
