Valerie,
Ran across your postings tonite. My GG-Grandfather James Wilson Nicholson/Nickelson had two sisters Kaziah and Mary Ann who both married Tibbets/Tibitts men. The marriages were in Clark County Indiana, circa 1840's-50's (from memory...have information on shelf)
Kaziah married Moses Tibbets and moved after the 1850 Indiana Census at some time to Atchison County, Missouri. Moses Died there and is buried in the Hunter cemetery. Mary Ann married Richmond/Richard L. Tibbets in Clark County IN, he died in Atchison Co Mo also- buried same cemetery.
I believe that I have located Kaziah's burial location in Table Rock Nebraska (there are several other Tibbets in the same cemetery). Also, likely that Mary Ann and a dau of Mary Ann in the same cemetery as my GG-grandfather James W. near Elk Creek Nebraska area. Just across the border in Nemaha county though. (Awaiting confirmation of the gals' identifications) I have a listing of several of the Tibbets marriages in Nemaha county NE, if you need to refer to them.
Good luck.
