Martin and Jane Tibbets were my grandfather's grandparents. Their son Frank M. married Jennie Wagner ca 1897. They had 2 children Genevieve b 1898 and Frank b 1902. Both Frank and Jennie died in 1904, less than 2 months apart, in Jamestown, Chautaugua Co., NY. Genevieve was raised by her grandmother Hayward (? according to my aunt). She married and had one daughter Norene. My grandfather Frank Tibbets was adopted by Hugh and Nancy Squires and used the Tibbets name as his middle name altho he spelled it Tibbetts. Nancy was the sister of Jennie. Hugh did not live long and Nancy remarried to someone I don't yet know by name. My grandfather married Mary Kathryn Hennessy from Auburn, Cayuga Co, NY and had 3 children: Gemma Mary, Suzanne and Robert Frank Squires. Suzanne is my mom. Frank and Mary moved to FL during the 1940s, divorced in the late 40s, remarried other people and both lived in FL till their deaths. I am very interested in any information you have on Martin and Jane and their families.
