My grandfather was John Henry Ticer & was married to Myrtle Ann Ticer (not sure of her maiden) They lived @ 2715 Emory Lane in Lubbock and took care of me as a baby. She was a wonderful woman and I do remember him sitting on the front porch watching me run up and down the front sidewalk. That's still so strange to me because I was born in Nov. 1958 and he died in Mar(?) of 1960. He used to give me coffee from a saucer while he was sitting at the kitchen table.
They had 8 children and my Mother was Lela Jo, next to the youngest. I do not know my other Aunts and Uncles very well, as my Mother was shunned by most of them. Don't know why. She passed away Nov. 2000.
