My great-grandfather was Calvin Newton Ticer born around 1900 but I am not sure where he was born. I understand that he had at least one sister named Francis and at least one brother named John. John Ticer lived in Lubbock, Texas at some point.
My great-grandfather Calvin Newton Ticer married (then divorced) my great-grandmother Abbie Annie Cude Ticer who was born in 1898. They moved to Spur Texas around 1930. They had four children, Annie Abbie (my grandmother born 1924), John, Tommy, Buster (not sure about his real name). My grandmother Annie Abbie married Chales Newsom and had three children, Calvin Newsom, Yolonda Newsom Moore (my mother), and Cynthia Newsom Jones.
