Hello - My great-grandfather was Calvin Newton Ticer born around 1900 but I am not sure where he was born. He ended up living in Spur, Texas. I he had at least one sister named Francis and at least one brother named John. John Henry Ticer lived in Lubbock, Texas.

I am fairly certain that my great-great grandfather's (John Henry, Calvin Newton and Francis's father)name was Amos Ticer. He probably was born in the 1870's or 1880's...

I am replying to this post because Newton is an unsual name and since it was my great-grandfater's middle name I wonder is he was related to Newton Ticer...maybe Newton and Amos were brothers????
