I am not related to the Ticer line. I have a photograph copy of an Elizabeth Ticer and one of her daughters(we've never known the daughter's name). Elizabeth was married to a Thomas Ticer and according to record, the first settlers in the Forest Academy area, Hopkins, County, Texas. What my grandmother understood to be correct: Thomas Madison, wife and Elizabeth and six children were the first recorded to settle in the Forest Academy community, 1847. Elizabeth is the only family member with a head stone at Forest Academy Cemetery, April 13, 1878 (born 6-7-1808). Thomas died one year after they reached Forest Academy. If he is buried at the same place, he has an unmarked grave.
I ran across this in my photographs. Thought someone may can shed more light and would like a copy of the picture.
