WoW....What a beautiful story!!! I have a hunch that we may be connected to Ellis or Augustine even though the phonetic spelling is different as that has always been a common thing with the last name Ticer/Tysor/Tycer/Tice/Tyson. My family is from TN and has homesteaded there since the 1800's so this maybe of some interest or totally unconnected. I would love to see the picutre if you can scan it, attach it, and send it to my email. Ellis seems to be connecting to the TICER line as another researcher and I are just as stumped in the late 1800 time frame!!!
