Hi, Bob, I think we are probably cousins since I'm descended from Ticers, although a different branch than yours. There was a William Marion Ticer that held land in Hopkins Co., Tx in the mid 1800's. He also
was apparently a Confederate Soldier since he had a Texas Confederate Pension, but I was unable to find him in any roster rolls.

From what I've surmised so far, seems that many Ticers inhabited a predominantly Scots-Irish area around present-day Rockhill, SC.
