Bob:
There are more Ticer's than that in California. My Dad is Eugene Ticer and my brothers are Joseph C. Ticer and David E. Ticer. I have two sisters also - Marilyn A. Ticer Meek and Margaret R. Ticer Skidgel (she lives in Idaho). We are related to the (deceased) John Henry Ticer's around Lubbock.

Nice to meet you. I also don't know where the Ticer name came from. We speculated Germany but never knew for sure.
