Tiernan's (1874) of Swinford Co. Mayo and Boston, Mass

My grandfather was John Patrick Tiernan, born Swinford 1874? died Ryhope,Co Durham 1952.
His parents, my great grandparents, were John Tiernan, a Tailor, from Swinford; and a nurse, name not known, from Manchester, UK.

John Patrick Tiernan had 3 sisters (Mary, Helen, Katherine) and a brother, Malachy. Mary(1873?) married a Tom Lofthouse and went to Doncaster in UK. Malachy, Helen and Katherine went to the USA.

Malachy (1875) had a son, Charles Tiernan, who lived in Boston, Mass. He had a shop or business in Boston. He died in Boston about 2001?? He was married with two sons, one of whom was named Charles, and a daughter.

Is there anybody out there who knows antything about these Tiernans, particularly those who lived in Boston?????
