Kay Just checked on Freebmd (its the indexing in London for Births, Marriages and Deaths for the UK) Annie and George where married in the Bath distict (you only find the parish on the certificate) as you said but it was 1893. You can check it out yourself just search for Freebmd. Its easy to use. You will only get from 1837 when the records started to 1901, 1902 will be added next year. You can even order the certificates. You will then get the fathers name on the marriage and the father with the mothers maiden name on the birth. Not all are on yet as they are still doing it. This is seperate from the Church records. Irene
