I'm researching the Bennett, Tilghman, Lloyd and other families. My ancestor, Richard Bennett, II (son of the colonial virginia govenor) married Henrieta Maria Neale in Maryland in the mid 17th century. He drowned in the 1650's and his widow married Philemon Lloyd. Descendents of this marriage subsequently married various Tilghmans. Numerous Lloyds, Tilghmans went on to become Md govenors, US Senators, Civil War Generals, Admirals, etc. Have a great deal of information regarding these and other families. Also go to for further information. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll share what I have.
