Dear R. S.

Thank you for your time and kindness in searching for answers to my query concerning possible information in the TILGHMAN family history book. I appreciate your effort even though nothing was found. Since posting my original query
I have been able to gather a little bit more additional information. With the assistance of a librarian at the Iowa Genealogical Society in Des Moines, Walter B. and May B.
[Lizzie Belle] Tilghman were found in Los Angeles, California in the 1930 census. The information in the census report confirms that this was the Lizzie Belle Tilghman I was looking for.
Also a death record for May Belle (Thompson) Tilghman was found from California records. She died 10 November 1946.
Due to my own personal diligent research I found an obituary on her first husband, Joseph W. Work, who died in Healdsburg, California on 25 July 1895. This obituary states that he and Lizzie Belle (Thompson) Work had four children, three of whom survived him. It does not give the names of any of the children and I have not yet found anything more about this family. Thank you again.
