It's pronounced 'Tilgman'. My dad's grandmother was Rebecca Helms, of south Alabama. Her dad, Coleman Helms,from Anson,NC. His dad was John Whitehead Helms m. to Elizabeth Ross, dau. of Martin Ross and Peggy Brown. My ggggrandfather was the Jeremiah(Mary Malden)Holloway from NC to GA to AL. Jeremiah had son James Irvin who had Jacob in Coffee Co., Al who married Rebecca Helms(b. 2-24-1846 d. 6-12-1918) buried in New Home Cemetery, Elba, AL. Jacob Holloway b.8-7-1846 d. 6-10-1920
