Pg. 380 THE TILGHMAN/TILLMAN FAMILY REGISTER:

"3241. MARY TILGHMAN, daughter of Joseph (3205) Tilghman, was b. 1750 on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and d. 1825, in Pike County, Ohio. She m. Solomon Warren, who was b. in Caroline County, Maryland, and d. May 8, 1820, in Jackson Township, in Pike County, Ohio, a Soldier of the American Revolution. See DAR membership 173291. Issue: Tilman, b. 1777, Solomon, John, who m. Rachel Stevens, and settled in Williams County, Ohio: Elizabeth, Charles, Rhoda, b. 1785, Rebecca, b. September 7, 1788, and d. August 30, 1877, who m. William Austill: Ann, b. 1790, who m. April 24, 1809, Amost Williams: Nancy, who m. James Loney, who was b. August 23, 1782, and d. January 28, 1846: Sarah, who m. Frederick Stiggall: and Milton, b. 1804."

Pg. 376 THE TILGHMAN/TILLMAN FAMILY REGISTER:

"3205. JOSEPH TILGHMAN, son of Gideon (1687) and Margaret (Manen) Tilghman, was b. Mar. 4, 1700, in Somerset County, Maryland, and d. Apr. 1767. He m. Nancy Harris, a sister of Captain Benton Harris, of Worchester County, Maryland. Mr. Tilghman served in the Colonial Militia of Somerset County, Maryland. Issue: Isaiah, b. 1725, Margaret, who m. James Hayman: John O., b. 1730, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Joseph, and William."
