Looking for information about my gggrandfather - George TILLEY b: 1840, Bristol Coucha, England. d: 16/Feb/1899, Harper
KS.
He married Hannah Marie BATT in England and came to the United States in 1871 or 1872. Together they had 6 children,
Mary Ann, Elizabeth Charlotte, James Thomas, William Clarence(my ggrandfather), Joseph John, and John Henry.
They divorced about 1863 - Hannah remarried a Chas MARTIN. She and the children stayed in Boone County IA and at some point George moved to KS and re-married. (A family source has him remarried to a Violet HURST, but I am unable to confirm that.) George is suppose to be buried in Harper KS.
