I'm sorry I made such a mess of that message. I wished I could have erased it. The marriage of Austin Powell and Fanny Anthony was in Burke Co., NC. Edmond was born in NC according to census ca 1779. I received info that this Austin Powell was the son of an Elias Powell. So believe that Edmond may have been married to one of Austin's sisters. Wish I could go to Burke Co.
