Jeff,
My grandfather was George Wesley Tilley, married to Elizabeth Kenny. He resided in Boston, Massachusetts. His family origins are not known. He would have been born about 1870. An aunt seems to recall he was originally from Maine.
I realize this isn't much, but maybe it will help.
