You stated that John Tilley married Lydia Howland, daughter of John Howland of the Mayflower. Actually, John Tilley married Joan (Hurst) Rogers, a widow. Their daughter Elizabeth married John Howland. John and Elizabeth had ten children--Lydia among them. Lydia married James Browne. I have lots more info if you would like it. I am a descendant of John Tilley/Joan Hurst and John Howland/Eliabeth Tilley through Elizabeth Howland, daughter of John and Elizabeth. (Is that confusing enough?!) :)
