In the 1850 census of Bienville Parish, Louisiana, a John Tilley is listed with my ancestor Jesse Holder a farmer from VA. He is listed married to Sarah and children are William b.1833 Melissa Martha and Abner. He says he is from Ga. and also listed as a physician. Could this be the Dr. Tilley Sr.? He must be related to my Jesse Holder or his wife whom we do not know.
