Henry Tilley is my Direct ancestor, Henry was born in Scottland and was son oh Henry and Margaret Burgess, his brothers were Edmond/Edmund b.1741, Joel A. born.1765 , John P. b.1761 Lazarus b.1744 Henry b 1754 went to Shelby Co. Ky. around 1792 with his brother Lazarus, the remaining children went with them, their wills are for Stokes Co. NC. Lazarus's will was from Shelby Co. Ky. most genealogy think that they died in Stokes NC. but only their wills was for NC.hope this has helped you, if you want you can e-mail me anytime. the Tilley's were from Albemarle CO.
