Thanks for your message & info, Carl. Since I posted, this is what I found out: Benjamin Harrison Tilley's father was Henry Tilley who married Ruth Evelyn Whited b. 1874 d. 1934 (daughter of Edward.W. Whited & Evelyn Thomas McNally married in Blount County, Alabama 15 May 1858.) Henry and Ruth Tilley had the following children: Oscar, Walter, Artie, Benjamin Harrison, Lewis, Gertrude May, Bertie Eveline (Evelyn), Lillian, Thomas and William. Bertie married a Jack McGrew, and then a Truett Stewart.I don't know where Henry and Ruth lived, but Benjamin was from Tennessee according to my father's Death Certificate (no county info recorded on it tho). I'm hoping there's a connection to your group somehow. Thanks for your help.
