Husbands Uncle says they came over on the Mayflower. He's in 90's so hard to gather info. I am trying to trace Tilley's in Wayne County Tennessee. I found James Sr. and Jr. in the 1836 & 1838 tax records. So far not connected to them but think have connedtion to an Archibald Tilley in same tax records. My husbands gggrandfather's name was Thomas Tilley and his ggrenadfather was John Henry Tilley.. They lived in Wayne County, Tn. and Lauderdale County , Al. and in Missouri when he died.
