I am trying to prove or disprove that William Henry Dionne dit Tilley was the natural born son of Elie Dionne and Helene Lagace. Elie and Helene were married 3 October 1853 at St Luce church in Frenchville Maine. William was listed as being 8 years of age in the 1870 census. William married Maude Modeste Levesque, date and place unknown. William raised six children, the 3 girls Catholic and the 3 boys Baptist. Sounds funny for a Catholic born child. Was William a "train orphan" brought up by the Dionnes or was he a natural born Dionne??
