Please help! My Tilley information has been erased. Please help me reconstruct the history of Joshua L. Holcomb/e, born 1802-3, SC, who married Nancy Tilley (also Tilly, Tiller) 9 July 1823 in Rabun Co., GA. Their children: Thomas Jefferson born 1824-25; John T. born 1827-8. The Tilley family lived in the Burton area that was later dammed and turned into Lake Burton. Nancy died by 1843. I do not know her burial site. I am trying to submit an article on the HOLCOMB/TILLY descendants for a Heritage Book that will be published about Habersham County. (Burton is located in an area that was in Habersham County before Rabun County was created.)
