According to my records John and Mathias (Beare) had a son Ephraim Tinkham. In the Pymouth Colony Records Ephraim came to Mass. as an indentured servant (10 years) of Timothy Hartherley and was later turned over to John Winslow in 1634.In 1642 he was given 25 acres of land for his indenture.Ephraim and wife Mary Browne (of the Mayflower) sold land to Harry Sampson. The land had belonged to her deceased father, Peter Browne. In 1675 Ephraim was made a selectman of Plymouth and in 1675 he was fined 40s for coming to court drunk.Ephraim and Mary had 6 children.Ephraim, Ebenezer, Peter, Hezkiah, John and Iasacke. I hope this helps.Barbara
