Tinnin Cem. Hinds Co. MS - Ratliff
There is a Tinnin Cemetery in Hinds County, MS, northwest of Jackson and not far from Clinton. Is there a listing of this cemetery?I'm particularly interested in any TINNIN and RATLIFF who may be buried there.
In the 1840 Census of Hinds Co., Zachariah RATLIFF was listed next to Brown TINNIN; in the 1850 Census, the widow Susan RATLIFF was listed next to Brown TINNIN.A World Connect site says Susan's maiden name was TINNIN.She and Brown had the same census age (42 in 1850).I wonder if they may have been siblings (children of John TINNIN and Elizabeth MOORE).John TINNIN reportedly died 1834 in Hinds Co., and his widow Elizabeth seems to have been included in Brown TINNIN's census counts.
I understand that Zachariah RATLIFF (1797-1849) is buried in the Tinnin Cemetery.I wonder if his wife Susan and some of their children are there also.
