Hi Cheri,

Thank you for sharing your nice recap of the Tintera Family history. You've really done a lot of research to have that much knowledge. I agree that there aren't too many people researching the Tintera name but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're not out there.

I was particularly interested in the names of the towns mentioned where your ancestors were born. I tried looking these names up on my Czech atlas but had difficulty in doing so. Can you give me any more reference points close by a big city? Is the spelling of MUSETICE correct? I still have no idea where my Tintera cousins were born but I do know the birth location of the Petrzilek family they married into.

The Petrizilek's were from Popovice, Picin, Benesov area (just south east of Prague). Usually the uniting of two families in the early centuries finds them both living in the same vicintity. Have you done any research in the Czech Republic on your Tintera's in the town's you've mentioned? With so many known quantities, a Czech researcher shouldn't have any problems finding them in the archives.
