Jacob Tippery, the Immigrant
Jacob Tippery immigrated to the United States (possibly from Alsace Lorraine) and took the Oath of Fidelity to the new U. S. government in Frederick Co., Maryland, in 1778.The family moved to Sinking Valley, Pennsylvania, to work in the lead mines. The Tipperys lived in Blair/Huntingdon and Clarion Counties in PA, then branched out to Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, and Washington.
There are several Tippery researchers with extensive family trees, including myself.
