She lived in Suffolk County, Boston, Mass.I browsed through the City Directories from 1916 all the way up to 1957!She owned property (I found the deeds) in Boston. She owned the house she lived in from 1916-1943.In 1943 all the people in the area were forced to move to make way for a public housing project.I found my ggrandmother and where she moved but no info. on gggrandmother. Her husband died in a fire (I believe he was a fireman) and definitely preceded her death (she was the witness on the death certificate and also the administratrix of the estate). Her married name was Franco. Her maiden name was Amore. However, in the city directories her name fluctuates between Franco and Amore.I tried both names for the death certificate but cannot come up with a thing.I do know where she is buried and when I have some spare time off work plan to visit or call the cemetary and see if I can find any more info.(There is no attendant there on Saturdays as far as I know).
I thank the contributors for their suggestions but am still at a loss as to what to do now.
