Hi Deezak,

It's nice of you to try to help this gentleman. Why not just use the indexing function within Word itself?

I have Word 2002, so I am not certain how it would work with Word 2000, but you could ask him to type "index" into the help window and see what instructions come up. With my version, you just go through your document, highlight a particular word or name that you want listed in the index, and mark it (using Alt-Shift-X).
