Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Sherry,

After I posted, I re-read your other reply (as I posted on 2 Genforum.com sites) and you'd written that one can go to their local LDS Church Family History Center and request the records there.

I initially did go to the local Family History Center, but I didn't know that they could actually order a copy of the actual records for you. They still do this for people? It seems like genealogy is so popular now that they'd be getting a very large number of requests.

Thanks:)
