The library is always a free source of learning.

You may want to go to your library and use their free access to the Databases. Some are termed, "Gale Databases."

One Database is;

It will have most of the information you need. Also, your regional library will have Census records from all European connected countries and the USA 50 states where you roll the microfilm and read the last name and year of the person in the state you are researching.

No cost questions. There is never a charge to help folks with basic Computer Hardware and Software questions.
