You are very welcome.
I have one more observation. Instead of printing off unidentified photos, would it be more efficient and less of a chore to sit down with the albums, your mother and your aunt, and a stack of "stickies" and identify as many photos as you can before you scan them? That would allow you to handle the photos fewer times and to save them in the correct subfolder in one fell swoop. You could make a subfolder under the surname(s) for "Unidentified" and handle those as you look for people who might know the identity of the subjects.
I assume you are looking at the backs of the photos to see if anything has been written on them? Sadly, that was too often not the case, but I've gotten lucky a few times. Also, another little tip ... if something was written in pencil and has faded or blurred over time, shine a flashlight on the words. Often, the words become clear. I've been able to read the messages on some old penny postcards that way.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Enjoy your holiday and your family.
