Thanks, Gary. That's him, alright! If ever I heard this story, I don't remember it. My dad loved that TV program and insisted that I watch it ... to the point that he came to my home and watched it with me. My kids weren't even in school then, and they were not happy that it interferred with them watching Roy Rogers or some such Western of the day.

I'd love to have that cook book.

It must have been quite interesting to have him for a neighbor.
