Thanks, and I'm 14 now :). Yes, I am doing good with organization. I use my filing cabinet and my computer, along with Family Tree Maker 2012, which is nifty. Also, I use genealogybank.com and ancestry.com. I do not, anymore, just copy information from ancestry.com's family tree's. I stopped when I realized the information on the trees didn't quite add up so I deleted them from my tree and got actual information from documents and such.
I have to start the interviewing stuff though. Most of my mothers family lives where I live so they are really close. My father's side, however, is all in Hawaii, so their is no way of getting to them. I will have to send them stuff on the computer or by mail.
Haven't joined a genealogical society or anything yet. I am going to wait until I need do do that - like when I get money and stuff.
