I am from Arkansas...most of my families are from Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, North and South Carolina.

You will have to do a little study about the area and what types of records they kept. How did the family move to Nebraska.

That is where I am at right now. I am studing an are in Lawrence Co., KY called Sacred Wind along the Caines Creek area...so far I have found some very interesting things..thruough other families I have found my one eluded ancestor that I thought I lost...it's a very sad story but I am so happy I found him..it was my gg grandfather, Mitchel "Boog" Whitt.
