Deceased paupers?
Seeking the burial place of Caroline Potter.
Were the Dade County, Georgia, County Commissioners required to have a burial place for deceased paupers?

I respectfully request that you will appoint a committee to report your body the condition of Caroline Potter. She is in a destitute condition sick, crippled and very old, and I do not think that she can live but a few months, but as I think ought to be on the County at once.

After due investigation had of the foregoing stated case it is ordered that Caroline Potter be and she is hereby allowed the sum of three dollars per month from this date as a support until otherwise ordered.
