I am looking for information on James D. Pitts who died in Anderson County in March 1880 or 1879, his tombstone list
He died in 1879 but in the Federal 1880 Mortality Schedule it lists that he died in March 1880. My Question is "I believe that I saw a record book that listed the 1880 deaths in Anderson County and James Pitts was listed and in the listing was the name of his mother as Nancy who was born in New Jersey" dose anyone know if there is a record for Anderson county deaths in 1880?
If anyone can help I would be very, very grateful.
