Could the surname of GLOSSON also be spelled as GLAWSON ? Here is what I have for an ALEXANDER GLAWSON : ( I can't tell if PURITY is a GLAWSON or a BARNHART but we have a PURITY ROGERS who was the sister of JULIA A. ROGERS BARNHART the wife listed on this census to WM. BARNHART. PURITY ROGERS b. bet. 1815-1822 NC is of same approximate age as this same PURITY listed in the BARNHART household then. We know that JULIA ROGERS BARNHART lost her father BASIL ROGERS in 1856 Carroll Co. TN and that after he had died the family may have split up and lived with others. I am trying to place them in other families so I have a timeline of where and when they lived. If you find more on PURITY and that she is indeed the sister to JULIA BARNHART listed below and that ALEXANDER GLAWSON is part of the GLOSSONS you are researching, PLEASE POST. Tina
