John W. Thurman reside in Overton & Clay co, TN. He was born in Cumberland Co. KY. His first wife was Nancy Ashlock and their children on the 1850 were:John, Rhoda (she married Wm. Thompson & is my gggrandmother), Franklin and Nancy. On the 1860 Census his wf. was listed as Pearlina Williams. On the 1870 Census the children were listed as:Fannie C., Sarah C., Thomas M., James M.(this is mygrt.grandfather), Martin, Mary Elizabeth, and Ruth A. Any info or pix or stories about this family would be appreciated. Will share info.
