The children of James & Sarah were: Jesse, Joseph, Benjamin, Delila, William, Rebecca, James H, Elizabeth Caroline and Sanford. All were born in the early 1800's in Greenville, SC or TN.
It is Elizabeth Caroline Edwards and her family that I am trying to find. She married Burton Dunaway in Dickson Co, TN in 1851.
I believe that shortly after they married, they moved to Illinois and that Elizabeth may have died in or around Hardin Co, IL in the late 1800's. Research indicates that there were 5 children of this marriage: Delila Jane (Janie) Mary, Julia, Thomas & Amanda. I have much information on the family of Thomas, but can't seem to get a handle on the rest. Does anyone know what happened to Elizabeth and her family? All help appreciated!
