Does anyone have more information on the John Gaston family group listed in the 1820 Census: e.g., names, dates? (See census info at the bottom of this post.) I'm looking for the family of Matthew A. Gaston (b. 08 Jan 1813 in TN). Matthew is listed in the 1860 Mobile Co. AL census (M653_17, pp. 163-164) as having been born in TN. It is my conjecture that this is Matthew's family group--based in part on family history that Matthew's father is named John, but also the age ranges are consistent with Matthew's birth date. I accept and appreciate any evidence to support OR contradict my assertion.
