Thanks for the reply. I had a sinking feeling that the answer would be "no," but I thought I would ask anyway.

I am still not having any luck with tracing my particular Lucas/Lucus family in Fayette Co., TN. They owned a good bit of land there, but I guess they weren't socially active or something for there are few records of them, even in the census records.

They lived mostly in Civil District #6. Would you happen to know which part of the county it was located in?

I enjoy genealogy research immensely, but it can be so frustrating at times.
