Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot!!
Three of Joshua Davis's children married three of William Cross's children. They moved to Ark. after 1880 stayed a few years then moved on to Texas where I am now. I haven't been able to find out what happened to the rest of the Davis and Cross families. I've exausted the census records over the last thirty years and gave up after a while. I did get the County Clerk of Fayette County to find my grandparents marriage record some years ago.
