My lineage as posted in prior post comes down from Meredith Burton Webb, who was the father of George Washington Webb, who was born in Maury Co., Tn 1806 but then I read that Giles was formed out of Maury Co., so would early records be in Maury Co., or Giles Co., or where? Since I am not familiar with Tennessee or where the records might be located would appreciate any help along those lines. Makes things a little smoother when one knows where the lines are at. Thanks so much.
