White Family VA to Giles County, TN

Hello,

I am looking for information regarding a branch of the White family that settled in Giles Co., TN from Jefferson county, VA around 1815. The original settlers included Thomas White, bn abt 1750(?)in Scotland and his two sons, James Kerney White, bn 1798 and Thomas White. James is listed as a school teacher on the 1850 census and is married to Virginia. His son, Leonidus (spelling) is listed as a taylor. According to a family history, Thomas jr moved on to Alabama.

Mary b 1834
John b 1837
Thomas b 1840
Sarah b 1842
Marion b 1844
Bernard b 1847
