I am still trying to find any info on GGGmother Elender (Choate/Shoat) Seitz. Was Elender Shoat brn abt 1801 in Ky?
Was she full blood Cherokee?,and what happen with her,and GGGfather William B Seitz?,did she pass away?,because GGGfather William Seitz later married a Campbell,and did they have children?.Also would like to know if her real name was Shoat.I believe the name Shoat was known in the Cherokee Tribes of Early Ky/Va.
