We heard our family was swennys also but found out they were Swinea from Hardin co TN. I have found a John westley Swinea Born Dec 14 1852 Died June 23 1867. This is a brother of my Greatgrandmother Lutishi Swinea Hollingsworth. Could this be the one you are looking for? The sweenys changed their spelling sometimes.
